Welcome
Hail and well met! My name is Lii. Take a walk through my celestial garden; there’s plenty to be found here, if you are inclined to follow the solar winds on their journeys. They say we are all stardust in the end — so, sibling, find solace with me in this place where stardust is all we need be at all, and enjoy the view. The map is to your left, though be warned it is indeed but a map and not the territory; the forecast is to your right, though it likewise is fickle and unreliable.
This site holds blog posts, shrines, and what treasures I have accumulated over my travels. Nothing here is compulsory, but I do ask you walk with reverence — these causeways hold more than memory, in the end. Perhaps some of it will go with you when it is time to remember your flesh.
On Discourse
“But, Lii, where do you stand on [issue]? I really need to know how you feel about [issue] in order to—”
We’re not doing this list-your-positions nonsense. First of all, we are too many and too varied for that to be even remotely practical, but second of all, it’s dumb. Why do we as a society so often go looking for fights? What bearing does my personal opinion on - to pick an issue from a hat - nuclear power have on your ability to enjoy my poetry? What impact does my stance on psychiatry hold upon your perception of my shrines? What are we doing here?
Our lives are so short on this planet and we waste so much of them already. There is no reason to waste yet more in fights we need not have. If you must know, here is the blanket statement: Lii believes in the right of persons to exist in whatever way they will, wherever they will, for whatever reason, presuming this existence does not impede on another person’s autonomy or ability to exist. They believe in forgiveness and second chances. They believe in the ability of persons to change.
